Individual Counseling may be for you if:

You’ve been trying to lead a balanced and happy life, but you can’t shake the feeling that something’s missing. You’ve accomplished some big things that you “should” be proud of, but maybe you still often feel off? You feel pressure to be perfect or to achieve goals that you’re not sure you even want. Because not being in tune with yourself can cause great despair.

When it comes to talking about this stuff, you experience overwhelm by feeling the way you feel. Maybe you’ve found yourself saying, “I’m not sure if my partner is ‘the one’, but everyone thinks we should get married.” Or, “I don’t want kids, but I could never tell my family that.” Or, “If I told anyone how much debt I’m in, they’d think I’m so irresponsible.” Or, maybe you’re going through a transition and just feel confused. 

Counseling can help you release expectations that don’t serve you anymore and re-author your own story so that you can pursue a life that you want to live, fully.

step one

 

Schedule a free, 15-minute consult call to determine if you and I will be a good fit to work together.

 
 
 

step two

For your first session, we’ll meet for 60 minutes and discuss what’s going on for you now. I’ll help you create goals for therapy, and we’ll make a plan of action.

 
 
 

step three

We’ll meet weekly, online, until we return to my New York City office (post COVID-19). Length of therapy depends on you and your goals, but most of my clients see me for at least 6-12 months.
